PhD Candidate
The University of Texas at Austin
Hi y'all! I am a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em!).
As an ethnographer, my research examines the current anti-abortion movement through data I collected from pregnancy resource centers in Texas and California. I am particularly fascinated by the intersection of gender, family, and reproductive health within different legal contexts.
Collectively, my work focuses on how women experience relationships, family, and identity under social and policy constraints. I believe telling women's stories through research can help translate lived experiences into meaningful policy change.
